Merry Christmas to everyone! We had a fun day at our house! It was Nina's first Christmas, which she slept through, and the first Christmas that Olivia was able to participate in. She enjoyed opening presents for about 5 minutes and then didn't care. She just started playing with the gifts she already opened.

Snow Suit!
Olivia's snow suit came! We went out on the deck this evening to enjoy some of the snow that continues to fall. Check out these fun pictures of Olivia outside.
I can't remember when we had this kind of snow! It is perfect snowman weather! Maybe we'll go out and make one tomorrow! We attempted to make a large snowball. Olivia was trying to eat it.

Happy Birthday Nina
Nina is a Month old today. We had pictures taken yesterday due to the wacky weather report for today. Glad we did that!
The portraits begin...I hope I have enough room on my cube walls at work to start posting Nina pics! Right now, one whole side of my cube is covered in Olivia!

Here's Nina
Here are some pictures of Nina over the last couple of weeks that she's been home. She loves to sleep during the day...she doesn't like the quiet of night like the rest of us. Hopefully we'll find a schedule soon!
We love our little 'Peanut'. She's so much smaller than Olivia was that it seems strange when we hold her. But. I'm sure Nina will catch up quickly to Olivia...Nina can eat! She eats and eats and eats...I'm exhausted!
Nina is already lifting her head up a bit. She's doing so well with focusing on our faces too! She's growing so fast! At her 2 week check up, she had already grown about and inch or so and gained almost a pound! (She lost nearly a pound after she was born.) She's been such a "Joy" to get to know!

Can't forget Olivia
Although everyone is talking about and checking out the new baby, Nina, we are trying to make sure that Olivia is still getting her one-on-one time.
Daddy took her outside with him while he was raking the leaves. She was helping!

Countdown...
Well, we are about 24 hours away from meeting baby Nina! We get to be at the hospital bright and early tomorrow for the first spot of the day.
It's been fun with Haley and Maddy because they keep making their guesses about what she'll look like...Haley thinks she'll look like me and have dark hair. Then, of course, there are the guesses about how much she'll weigh! (If you don't know, Olivia weighed 11 lbs 1 oz when she was born.) The doc said that this one won't be as big as the last but she won't be puny either!
We've been so busy this weekend trying to get things straightened and cleaned up before we're off to the hospital for 3 days...we still have a ways to go.
Oh, for those of you that have been praying for Grandpa Don, Thank You! I don't have an update yet but hope to this afternoon.
Take care everyone!

Need Prayer
I just got a phone call that Grandpa Don isn't doing well at all. They are only giving him a few more days. Please pray for him and his wife, Candy. They do not know the Lord.
Don and Candy are very kind, loving, giving people. When their daughter, Lu Ann, married my dad in 1998, they welcomed me into their family with all the love grandparents can give.
When Frank and I married in 2006, Don walked me down the isle. Here is a picture of that day.
Thank you, in advance, for your prayers. I will keep you posted as I hear news.

The Many Faces of Olivia
There are so many funny faces that we're able to capture of Olivia. She is constantly making us laugh. Here are just a few...can you spot who she gets these funny faces from?

Tinkerbell
Sorry it took so long to get these posted...
Olivia was Tinkerbell for Halloween. We didn't go out trick or treating but we did answer the door for a few. We weren't sure how many kids we'd have since this is the first Halloween in our new house. We only had 10 kids or so but we bought enough candy for an entire school...we have a lot left over. And, of course, we bought candy that we don't particularly like so we wouldn't eat it...that was silly. Not one bag of chocolate!!!
Anyway, as you can see, Olivia wasn't very happy when we first put her costume on. Actually, I think it was the fact that we tried to put a little ponytail in her hair (since she has hair now!) Yea, she didn't like that at all. But, once it was in, she was fine. She even got to eat her dinner in her costume.

Exciting
We have finally set the date for the C-Section...November 17th. And, we have the first slot of the day...7:30am. We are so excited to meet baby Nina Joy.
So, the count down begins...5 weeks and 3 days. I won't start counting the hours yet.

Olivia is growing up so fast. I can't believe she's already a year old. She's so beautiful and funny and kind. Just like her sisters, Haley & Maddy. They are all so blessed to have each other.
Here it is almost Halloween and I'm remembering how we had put Olivia in this cure little Tigger costume last year...the poor thing was only a month old. This year, we have a little fairy costume for her. We had to find something that didn't have anything that was supposed to stay on her head...she's not into that at all. (Can't say that I blame her.)
We're going to the pumpkin patch this weekend so we should have a lot of fun pictures to take.
Be back soon!

Count Down...
The countdown is on to Olivia's birthday party and our house looks like a tornado hit it. However, we no longer have new appliances sitting in the living room! Frank and Rich put the stove and fridge in and they look great! Now, if we could just get new cabinets and countertops...oh well, someday.
I can't believe my baby is going to be a year old! She's beginning to look like a toddler now and not so much like a baby. She can practically run across the living room, she 'scolds' the dogs with a pointed finger and she jabbers like she's having this amazing conversation with you. Where did the time go? Wasn't it just July when she was still crawling? I am amazed at her everyday! What a blessing.

Workin' for a Livin'
Last Friday, Frank brought Olivia down to my office (Kibble & Prentice) in Seattle for a visit. Many of my co-workers have only seen pictures and a video or two of Liv walking. Everyone had a great time, especially Olivia! She walked EVERYWHERE!
She liked my calculator...maybe she'll be an accountant? Everyone knows mommy's not good with numbers...
Here's Olivia sitting in my chair...she's a natural!
What a great way to end the work week. Showing off my daughter to everyone at work...although, they see plenty of her since my cubicle walls are covered in pictures of her!
